The first appointment was mostly conversation, which I had not expected. She asked which photographs of myself I disliked, and why, before she looked at a single tooth.
Wearing the trial version was the moment it made sense. It looked right on the screen and felt slightly long when I spoke, so we shortened it. Nothing permanent had happened yet.
